Learning Management System Administrator

Salary: £26,403 - £28,142 per annum

Hours: 37 Hours per week 

Contract: Permanent

Location: Huntingdon

Hybrid Working - we offer a flexible, agile, hybrid working pattern where you can work from home, as well as from Cambridgeshire Fire & Rescue Service and other locations around Cambridgeshire 

 

About the role 

In this role, you will support the Senior Digital Design Partner in the management of our Learning Management System (LMS) and the maintenance of digital learning materials. You will work closely with colleagues across the Training Centre, Combined Fire Control, and the Application Support Group to ensure our digital learning resources are engaging, accessible, and effective. 

The role involves liaising with other departments to promote digital learning and explore how it can support wider organisational goals. You will play a key part in increasing the resilience and capacity of the team to meet growing demands, while ensuring that our learning systems and content meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.

About you:   

We welcome applications from all backgrounds and experiences, but the ideal person will have: 

  • Proven track record of administrating a Learning Management System. 
  • Proven track record of establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with people of differing levels of seniority both internally and externally. 
  • Learning Management System knowledge. 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel. 
  • A proven ability to think creatively and work collaboratively to achieve solution-based outcomes. 
  • The ability to develop effective working relationships and maintain rapport with others – able to communicate in a friendly, open and constructive manner.  
  • Ability to interpret and explain complex issues to a wide range of audiences.
