Fire in the open - Wilburton - East Cambs

At 4.31pm on Thursday (6) crews from Chatteris and Ely along with the water carrier and misting unit were called to a fire in the open on Pools Road in Wilburton. 

Wearing breathing apparatus firefighters used hose reels to extinguish the fire before returning to their stations by 11pm. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
