Road traffic collision - Eastfield - Peterborough

On Monday (9) at 11.23am, crews from Stanground and Dogsthorpe were called to a road traffic collision on Boongate, Peterborough. 

Firefighters arrived to find a collision involving a heavy goods vehicle and a car. Two casualties were trapped inside the car. 

Firefighters used specialist equipment to release the casualties from their vehicle, before they were left in the care of the ambulance service. 

Crews returned to their stations by 12.30pm.
