Fire in the open - Fengate - Peterborough

At 5.33pm on Sunday (19) crews from Dogsthorpe and Stanground were called to a fire in the open on Meadenvale in Peterborough.

Crews arrived to find an out of control bonfire spreading to a garage and affecting a fence and trees. Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used hose reels to extinguish the fire and returned to their stations by 7.30pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
