Shed fire - Papworth Everard - South Cambs

On Wednesday (29) at 12.42pm, crews from St Neots, Huntingdon and the south roaming fire engine were called to a shed fire on Ermine Street, Papworth Everard.

Crews arrived to find a shed well alight and affecting a house.

Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used hose reels and a jet to extinguish the fire, before using a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear the smoke.

Crews returned to their stations by 2.15pm, before reinspecting the area later in the afternoon.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
