Field fire - Fengate - Peterborough

At 5.33pm on Sunday (19) crews from Dogsthorpe, Peterborough Volunteer Fire Brigade, Ramsey, Thorney, March and the north roaming fire engine were called to a field fire on Hammonds Drive in Fengate. 

Firefighters used hose reels and beaters to extinguish a fire affecting approximately six acres and returned to their stations by 8.45pm. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
