House fire - Eastfield - Peterborough

At 3.06pm on Saturday (25) crews from Dogshtorpe and Peterborough Volunteer Fire Brigade were called to a house fire on Eastfield Road in Peterborough. 

Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the fire and cleared the smoke using a positive pressure ventilation fan. 

Crews returned to their stations by 3.40pm. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
