Fire in the open – Great Shelford - South Cambs

At 5.16pm on Sunday (9) crews from Cambridge and the south roaming fire engine were called to a fire on Cabbage Moor in Great Shelford.

Firefighters arrived to find a fire in a field involving straw bales. They extinguished the fire using hose reels and returned to their station by 9pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
