Field fire - Upton - Huntingdonshire

On Thursday (13) at 1.47pm, crews were called to a field fire on Langley Bush Road, Upton.

A crew from Dogsthorpe and the north roaming fire engine responded, along with a 4x4.

Crews arrived to find an area of grass and stubble on fire, involving an electricity pole.

Firefighters worked with hose reels and beaters to get the fire under control and prevent further spread. They were also assisted by local farmers who provided water bowsers.

Firefighters remain at the incident.
