Trees on fire – Fordham - East Cambs

At 7.10pm on Friday (14) crews from Chatteris and Newmarket (Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service) were called to trees on fire on Carter Street in Fordham.

Firefighters used hose reels to extinguish a fire involving a conifer hedge and returned to their stations by 9.30pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
