Cat rescue - Chatteris - Fenland

At 8.56am crews from Chatteris and Huntingdon were called to an animal rescue in Chatteris.

Firefighters arrived to find a 15 week old kitten trapped between two buildings. The crews used rope rescue skills to rescue the kitten named Purdy.

The crews returned to their stations by 11.40am.
