Flat fire – Fengate - Peterborough

At 5.45pm on Monday (28) crews from Dogsthorpe and Stanground, including the turntable ladder, along with the north roaming fire engine were called to a fire on Hammonds Drive in Fengate, Peterborough.

Firefighters arrived to find a fire in a first floor flat. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using a hose reel and returned to their stations by 6.45pm.

There were no injuries reported.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
