House fire - Sutton - Fenland

At 2.55am on Sunday (5) crews from Littleport, Ely, Manea and Chatteris were called to a house fire on The Gault in Sutton.

Firefighters used hose reels to extinguish a fire involving a log cabin and returned to their stations by 5.50am.

Firefighters reinspected the area the following morning and were assisted by a farmer in dampening down the area.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
