Fire in the open - Helpston - Peterborough

At 2.32am on Friday (3) crews from Dogsthorpe and Stanground were called to a fire in the open on Glinton Road in Helpston.

Crews arrived to find a fire in a garden that had spread to two houses. Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used a hose reel and small gear to extinguish the fire and returned to their stations by 4am.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
