Fire in the open - New England - Peterborough

At 2.57pm on Monday (6) a crew from Dogsthorpe was called to a fire in the open on Rock Road in Peterborough.

The crew arrived to find an out of control bonfire spreading to the garden and affecting a nearby property. Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the fire and returned to their station by 4pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
