Car fire – A14 - South Cambs

At 4.13pm on Thursday (26) crews from Cambridge and Burwell, along with a crew from Newmarket in Suffolk were called to a fire on the A14.

Firefighters arrived to find a car well alight on the eastbound carriageway near Stow-Cum-Quy. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using a hose reel and returned to their stations by 6.15pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
