Vehicle fire - Newton in the Isle - Fenland

On Monday (30) at 6.17am, a crew from Wisbech was called to a vehicle fire on Fen Road, Newton-in-the-Isle.

The crew arrived to find a flat bed transit van on fire. Wearing breathing apparatus and using hose reels, firefighters extinguished the fire.

The cause of the fire was believed to be deliberate.

The crew returned to their station by 7.45am.
