Fire in the open – Newnham - Cambridge

At 12.40pm on Thursday (23) a crew from Cambridge was called to a fire on Herschel Road in Newnham, Cambridge.

Firefighters arrived to find an area of scrubland on fire and extinguished it using a hose reel. They returned to their station by 2.30pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
