Fire in the open - Gorefield - Fenland

At 2.03am on Saturday (2) crews from Thorney and Dogsthorpe as well as Long Sutton (Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue Service) were called to a fire in the open on Cattle Dyke in Gorefield.

Firefighters used hose reels to extinguish a large fire involving refuse.

The crews returned to their stations by 4am.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
