Building fire - Fletton - Peterborough

At 7.14pm on Saturday (20) crews from Stanground, Dogsthorpe, Thorney and Peterborough Volunteer Fire Brigade alongside an aerial appliance from Corby (Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service) were called to a building fire on London Road in Peterborough. 

Crews worked hard to extinguish the fire using hose reels and jets, and the road was closed. 

The incident was scaled down later into the evening. Crews reinspected the scene throughout Sunday (21) and will continue to do so today (22).
