Flat fire - Market Ward - Cambridge

At 8.05am on Saturday (20) crews from Cambridge, Cottenham, Burwell, Ely, St Neots and Huntingdon along with the turntable ladder, south roaming fire engine and Newmarket (Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service) were called to a flat fire on Newmarket Road in Cambridge.

Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used hose reels to extinguish the fire and cleared the smoke using a positive pressure ventilation fan.
