Field fire - Wimblintgon - Fenland

At 4.56pm on Friday (24) crews from Chatteris and Wisbech along with a water carrier and a crew from Outwell (Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service) were called to a field fire on Hook Road in Wimblington. 

Firefighters worked hard using hose reels and small gear to extinguish the fire and returned to their stations by 7.30pm. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
